Interactive Media
Interactive Media (formerly Multimedia 10203 & Web Publishing 10201) is a year long course. It is considered the first level technology course for launching a student towards the Media Technology (a project based course pulled from Graphic Design, Video and Animation, and Web Design) curriculum pathway. Interactive Media (level one) MUST be taken before students will be advanced into Media Technology (level two). This course focuses on both the technology and personal skills required for the student to develop successful employment skills. Students will move through a series of components that develop technology skills and personal speaking / presentation protocol, while meeting standards set by the SD DOE CTE/IT. Proficiency levels for each component must be met if the student is to advance into Media Technology. The instructor will determine proficiency levels.
